08.31.2007 - The Police return to Wembley Arena, October 20 for final date of European Tour...
Ahead of next weekend's Twickenham shows The Police today announced a third and final London date. The European tour will end with a one-off gig at Wembley Arena on 20th October 2007. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 7th September.

Fan club members will have the opportunity to purchase presale tickets for this show beginning on Tuesday, 4th September at 10:00 AM (local), and the presale will end on Thursday, 6th September at 12:00 PM(local).

Tickets will go on sale to the public at 9 AM on Friday 7th September.

The Wembley show marks a significant return for The Police; the venue hosted the closing night of the Synchronicity Tour on New Years Eve 1983.

The band's European Tour opened this week at the Globe Arena in Stockholm and arrives at Birmingham's NIA on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th September, followed by appearances at Twickenham on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September.

The Police have so far played to more than a million people in North America. In excess of million fans will also see The Police when they perform in Europe this autumn. The tour moves back to North and South America later this year and continues on into Australia, New Zealand and Asia in 2008.
