09.02.2007 - Fan Club Party - Twickenham - Sept 8! If you want to come make sure you apply as we only have a limited number of places...
The Police tour arrives in London on September 8 for the first of two dates at Twickenham Stadium.

We couldn't let this landmark pass without celebrating their return to these shores, and so we are really pleased to announce that we will be holding a Fan Club party for Police.com members at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, September 8 at 2pm.

As in Vancouver, we know that demand will outstrip the size of the available room so we will have to limit numbers to around 175 members. And, because we know that many of you are travelling to London on the day of the show, we thought it would be unfair to have everyone queuing in line to ensure they get a wristband. So, we have decided to use an entry form for you to express your interest in attending which you should do before midnight on September 5. We will then pull 175 names at random and let the successful members know on September 6 if they have won a wristband to attend the party.

As if attending the party, making new friends and catching up with old ones is not enough, we are delighted to say that we will also be holding a charity raffle with every penny of the proceeds going to Wateraid. In Vancouver we (you!) raised almost ,000 with our raffle and we want to try and better that if we can.

When we were in Stockholm earlier this week we got Sting, Stewart & Andy to sign half a dozen tour programmes and posters (see example) and we'll have a bundle of other signed goodies too as prizes. The top prize in the raffle will be one pair of FRONT ROW tickets to see The Police's final show in Europe at London's Wembley Arena on Saturday, October 20!!

The prizes are beauties and the cause is a great one, so come with some cash! Tickets will be £10 per strip, cash only, sorry but we can not take credit cards.

Please read the rules of entry before applying.

See here for how to enter - www.thepolice.com/fanclubparty/index.php?

Thanks - hope to see you there!
Tina, Dave & Wendy
